The Hyde Group recently achieved re-certification to Cyber Essentials Plus - a further positive step in our commitment to cyber security to our customers in the defence and commercial sectors.
Cyber Essentials is a cyber security standard introduced by the UK government that provides organisations with best practices to most common cyber security threats. Cyber Essentials Plus is more advanced than the basic Cyber Essentials assessment, requiring organisations to undertake a series of technical assessments that include internal and external vulnerability tests against servers and workstations.
The Hyde Group was awarded the re-certification following an evaluation that tested the security of its boundary firewalls and internet gateways, secure configurations, patch management, user accounts, mobile devices and malware protection.
