Hyde Group’s advanced aerospace and defence machining provider, Stoneswood Precision Components Limited (‘Stoneswood’), is proud to announce it has been awarded the Bronze Award for SC21 Operational Excellence.
Supply Chains for the 21st Century (SC21) is an improvement programme designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace and defence industry by raising the performance of its supply chains.
Due to COVID19 social distancing regulations, Stoneswood undertook a remote assessment using video conferencing and on-line collaboration tools to provide a portfolio of evidence against criteria related to manufacturing and business excellence. They were the first company in the UK to be led remotely by a key customer in performing such an assessment.
